Seder in the Streets for Housing Justice

Passover is a celebration of liberation, a time where we can glimpse a hopeful and actionable future. Just as the righteous midwives of Exodus were rewarded by having homes established for them (Exodus 1:21), we seek to birth a new vision of New York City, one whose municipal budget ensures communal flourishing and the ability to create a home for every New Yorker. Join with Tirdof: New York Jewish Clergy for Justice and our neighbors as we gather in Tompkins Square Park to share a pre-holiday celebratory meal and seder ritual, as we envision a city with housing justice at its core: “Next Year in a New York City for All of Us!”
