The New York City Council is holding a hearing on the Mayor’s fiscal year 2024 preliminary budget on Wednesday, March 15. Public comment will start at 5:30 PM. We need community members to testify or submit written testimony* about how harmful cuts to the housing-related city workforce are to New Yorkers — and what we want (investments in housing and social safety nets) instead!
The People’s Plan will be providing talking points to all those who submit testimony. To get instructions and sample testimony to submit, please fill out this form.
